Hi there! If you are using Express you shouldn't need to activate Stripe Tax on your Connected Accounts as you should be taking the payments on your platform.

Yeah we highly recommend that you don't use Direct Charges with Express. And no there is no way to activate Stripe Tax via the API for a Connected Account.

Yeah there are other limitations like being able to address disputes, having to cover negative balances, you can't customize your Radar settings, it makes reporting and metrics much harder, etc.

but if I create for example all the products and payments links for the connected account in the platform them filter the product that belong to a connected account is not more slow ?(I suppose I need to search with metadata for that)

No it shouldn't be slower. Most folks track these products in their own database, but yes you could also use metadata.
