I see, without providing a valid ID, its much slower
this seems like a lot of information to be asking users
This is part of onboarding process. Only when the requirements are fulfilled, then the account will then be enabled for payment processing. The speed depends on how much and how fast requirements are completed.
So via API I can provide everything all at once with a single screen which I’m doing now
But the valid ID document says optional, but it’s not optional
I think ID is the toughest one for us
I assume that you're using Custom account here since you mentioned submitting via API? This is the minimum verification requirements for each country: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/required-verification-information
What ID document are you referring here?
I think the last four of social we can do
But for our business an ID document would be hard to obtain
In my test account I can see they are not verified until an ID document is provided
Really appreciate your help I’ve been hung on this one for awhile
This is part of the account verification requirements. I'm afraid there's no way to skip it unless all the required information are collected.
