Hi there 👋 you need to handle the collection of your portion prior to the Payout step.

When creating the Subscriptions, there is a parameter that you can pass called application_fee_percent that controls how much of the payment you as the platform keep:

Hi Toby, what's the difference between application_fee_percent and transfer_data.amount_percent ?

They're very similar.

In our case there is no difference?

I was looking to see if we had a decent document that explains it. I would honestly recommend creating one of each in test mode, and see which one you prefer the flow of. I think the field inside of transfer_data is typically better to use though.
