Hi there 👋 just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, it's the invoices on the Avalara side that you want to remain uncommitted?

Yes, that is correct. Ideally, we would prefer to delay the creation of the transaction until payment altogether, but I understand that is probably something that could not be prevented. But, if we could leave the transaction uncommitted until the payment has been received, it would make things easier.

I don't think we (Stripe) are going to be familiar with the lifecycle of objects on the Avalara side or what causes those to change states. I think the Avalara support team may be more familiar with this and able to give better advice.

I thought that might be the case, but my manager wanted to check with Stripe first. The endpoint used in the webhook belongs to Avalara correct?
