but this would actually create a manual payout with a specific amount
you cannot trigger an automatic payout with the cli

and if we trigger the manual payout, would we be able to specify the date of the transactions it relates to?

it won't have any transaction related to it, it would only have an amount
that's the drawback of manually created payouts

ah ok, So the only way to receive a payout which has the previous weeks transactions is to pay for orders each day then wait for the automatic payout?

you change the payout settings here https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payouts for daily payouts and then you would not have to wait to test a whole week
