It depends on the service you provide. If it's purely a service within your app then unfortunately Apple/Google would enforce to use their subscription api. It's a long debate story and I totally feel your pain (I was iOS developers too). But it's fair to everyone

Let's say you provide service outside your app, like a physical goods, then you should be able to use Stripe

We are not selling physical goods and subscription fee for the app usage.

For a personal note I think you can try, until you get into Review and Apple says something. You can also try to defense/appeal to them
