Hello, I am a bit unclear on the question. Can you tell me a bit more about what you are trying to do right now? Are you choosing between "authentication and authorization."
No, both terms authentication and authorization are used in the context of security services (Authentication is stating that you are who are you are and Authorization is asking if you have access to a certain resource). So, consider my question as "should a Redwood JS app that uses Stripe rely in Stripe security services or RedwoodJS own security services". It certainly would be silly to use both.
Alternatively the question could be stated as whether users would prefer one or the other (where due to significant number of users would be using such app because of Stripe). Does Stripe have any policy in such context.
Gotcha. I don't think we have a specific recommendation there but if you are looking for more product level advice, our support team may be able to speak to different product capabilities here https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
Find help and support for Stripe. Our support center provides answers on all types of situations, including account information, charges and refunds, and subscriptions information. Get your questions answered and find international support for Stripe.
This server is more for programming advice so I can mostly speak to our API products but am less familiar with our security products.
Thank you @pine palm - i will do a you suggested
