ok, it's not publicly released yet but I believe it is supposed to be released quite soon, that being support for passing setup_future_usage in https://stripe.com/docs/api/checkout/sessions/create#create_checkout_session-payment_method_options-card

there's already a beta for it so you could write to https://support.stripe.com/contact to ask for access, but overall I think it's probably going to just soft-release reasonably soon
