Hi @lucid smelt Although the action hash contains the most recent action performed by the reader, it's not a real-time status and it can be changed when your reader attempt to connect to it.

If you don't want to disrupt the existing connection, we recommend setting fail_if_in_use to true on your application’s initial connection attempt.
