I believe what you've described will cause the next payment for that subscription to be created as a destination charge, but you can use our newish Test Clocks functionality to simulate this in a sandbox where you can advance time to confirm the flow will behave as you desire.

We're not really familiar with the dashboard here (we primarily focus on the API side of integrations), but I don't think it would since the Subscription still resides on/is owned by the Platform account.
