No, there is not a way to configure live-mode to ignore failure responses being received for a webhook endpoint.

Yes, the invoices that are in the draft state will transition after about 72 hours, even if receipt of the associated invoice.created event was not acknowledged successfully.

Have you tried manually finalizing one of the impacted invoices?

I don't recall with certainty whether that will work in this case, but I think it might.
