not sure what "connected accounts" means... but that sounds about right I guess.
Alternatively, I am thinking of a more manual way, where I would just count the amounts related to one account, and then "SOMEHOW" manually transfer money to that account. I am missing a big customer base, hence I want to add affiliate marketing.. but I dont want to pay a big monthly fee to make it work.. that would shoot myself into the foot 😉
