when did read_write become a hard requirement?
in the past we've been able to successfully auth with read_only in our request scope and we still don't have a use case where we need to write data. Has anyone else run into this recently?

Good question. Checking in to this requirement. When you said you used to do this, was this with the same setup or did you recently change API versions or something?

we're on version "2020-08-27", and haven't made any changes to the version recently as far as im aware
