Hi there! The language will localize basd on the customer's browser. You don't need to take any action here.
Okay. I'd like for it to include language that I decide. For instance, it says "pay and start trial" if I include an item with a free trial. I don't want it to say that; I want it to say something else. Can I change the language in the backend?
I see the confusion—by "language" i mean the wording, not the global dialect.
Ah thanks for clarifying.
Unfortunately, the wording of the Checkout Page is not customizable.
I see. Is there any setup—perhaps with a more fully customized checkout page—where we could change the wording? Thank you so much for this help.
Not really... for that you would build your own custom checkout page using Payment Element (https://stripe.com/docs/payments/accept-a-payment?platform=web&ui=elements).
Or: Is there a setup where I could have a customer buy both 1) a one-time purchase and 2) a recurring purchase, then for me to decide when in the future the recurring purchase begins?
