HI ๐
Do you have a request ID for the request that generates this error?
Here's how you can find a request ID: https://support.stripe.com/questions/finding-the-id-for-an-api-request
Oh it's not an error that I got, I just saw it in the documentation here - https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers
We don't show the same call-out for Destination charges and I think the SC&T regulations are due to the charge and the revenue transfers occurring in different countries.
https://stripe.com/docs/connect/destination-charges
However, I would try quickly creating test Connect scenarios and performing the Destination charges just to verify the expected behaviors. Multi-national financial regulations are complex and hard to parse.
Interesting, thanks!
Stripe's ability to test your entire integration (which a few exceptions) is one of the key reasons developers like using our tech. So I would recommend knocking out a simple test scenario to validate the types of charges you want to make.
Sorry! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to keep different topics in different threads ๐
But yes, about the Stripe Connect fees, it says there's a set monthly fee per active account, what constitutes active? If a user onboards and does nothing with the account, is that still active, or is it only active when they start receiving payments and paying out?
No worries!
Unfortunately this is a domain of knowledge that we're not really equipped to give solid answers on. Our support team is better at handling questions of pricing and what meets certain conditions for different fee structures.
Here's how you can get in touch with them

Update in case you happened to be interested (and also a personal note for myself), an account is only considered "active" in any month that payouts are issued (either to bank or card). So simply collecting payments doesn't mean a connect account is active, only when they payout ๐
