Well we've confirmed its not our APIs/network so we must start considering either A) something between your servers and ours, B) your network, or C) The function is failing to trigger an outbound network request.

What my colleague asked for earlier still applies. Do you see an outbound request in the browser's Network tab when you call stripe.createPaymentMethod?
