evt_3L7ODCDBTkWnGnZw0S3jbaD7 thanks
Whereas evt_3L8o5XDBTkWnGnZw1SlsFJaA this shows the source is API. Which makes sense because it means that the request was made via an API request, and for events where the source is "Dashboard" that simply means the request was initiated by an actor from within the stripe dashboard.
Automatic seems to indicate it was initiated by Stripe I presume.
Yup. But some events are triggered automatically as a result of linked processes.
Or events related to timing, like subscription related events
Is there any further insight into why this event was executed ?
Well, probably because refund re_3L7ODCDBTkWnGnZw08wMowjn was created.
I understand that but ultimately I'm trying to understand who the actor was that initiated the refund was it an API / Dashboard or Stripe?
I was looking at the logs tab and couldn't identify any POST to v1/refunds that contains this charge id ( "ch_3L7ODCDBTkWnGnZw0OQ3eiDB")
Looking into how this was created presently with a colleague
Okay I think your best bet at getting detailed answer here is to write in to support. This is getting beyond what we're able to help with here.
