This is optional and as far as i know at your discretion for record keeping

abandoned would be say you created a payment intent during a checkout flow but your customer just left your site

requested by customer would be perhaps some explicit action by a customer to end a session or otherwise tell you they no longer intend to pay

but its an optional parameter, you need not include anything at all
