Hello there, thank you - the plugin is working fine for regular payments and subscriptions. Plugin aside, do you know much about Clearpay/Afterpay (specifically Clearpay as we're UK based)
They have their own WordPress plugin, but I wondered if Stripe's integration with these services acts as a sort of middle man?
I'm not sure how the internal integration works but if you have configured you payment methods (https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods) with Clearpay/Afterpay turned on and the plugin uses the automatic payment methods than you should be fine
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
so I would suggest making sure Clearpay/Afterpay is enabled in your dashboard and testing it
I think this may be the issue as the client reports a message saying we're using payment_method_types rather than automatic_method_types - which is set in the plugin, so perhaps that answers my question
yes, in that case you need to pass the payment_method_type
ah, so from the plugin side, it should add clearpay and afterpay - which I don't think it does, only Apple Pay, Google Pay and a couple of others. I think I need to go back to the plugin developers (WooCommerce wrote this plugin) and query with them - thank you kindly for your help
I appreciate your time and quick response
