Hi there! Which browser version are you using for your tests?
FYI Google Chrome version 100 dropped support for browser saved cards: https://blog.chromium.org/2021/10/sunsetting-basic-card-payment-method-in.html
So Chrome 100 now only supports Google Pay with cards added to the Wallet.
