Hi there! A receipt will be automatically generated for a Payout. Can you clarify what is a "credit note" in this case?

Thanks for your quick reply.

A credit note = a invoice with negative value.

Problem is that for tax reasons in germany a normal receipt is not enough. You also need a invoice with some more data (vat id, business address etc)

Got it. In general Stripe supports creating invoices and adding credit notes to invoices: https://stripe.com/docs/invoicing/dashboard/credit-notes
However won't don't generate one when creating payouts
