This is what was relayed to us:
"I'm not sure who this information should be conveyed to but I just received a voicemail from my credit union that there have been two additional attempts to withdraw payments from my account and the NACH code being used is a 27 which is a debit code; again, this account is a savings account therefore the payment needs to be requested as such"

As far as I can tell there is no way to specify whether it's a checking or savings account when creating the PaymentMethod.

Which I assume she means "NACHA".. and the code should be 37 for savings debit maybe.
