Yep that hosted page has different behaviour for various payment methods. What are you trying to do, exactly?

I'm using the hosted invoice to let my user pay, but I can't store the PM other than card to reuse it later on

No that's correct - the hosted invoice page isn't meant for that. You might want to try the Customer Portal instead:
