That is what I was afraid of. What do native mobile apps do? Surely they have autofill?

Where would the card number come from in this case? Like, where would the autofill data actually come from?

in ioS you can save your credit card details. I would like it to come from there. I believe you can also actually scan you card to save it.

For web on mobile it offers to autofill from the card stored on the device

I thought those details were saved on either the browser or the Apple Wallet app, not the OS itself, but I could be wrong. I'm afraid I don't know what to advise here

Yes I think they are stored in the wallet app on iOS.
