lets take a step back, can you share where are you seeing that automatic payment mode is deactivated? A screenshot would be good or what specific API parameter are you referring to? Remember to redact any sensitive information

for the latest invoice, it's already working as expected. Turning off automatic collection is a per invoice configuration
