Please make sure you don't post your API key.

I would recommend not using the API if you're not a programmer. If you want to delete all test data, you can do this via the Dashboard, but I'm afraid you can only delete 1 account at a time via the API.

Deleting an account has nothing to do with metadata though; can you clarify the metadata piece?

i'm not sure how to answer that.

I am planning to run a marketplace with several stripe connect accounts. the express option costs $2 per month to operate, and so i am hoping to remove clients that no longer want to work on the marketplace so I am not paying for inactive accounts

but I am now running into an issue with not being able to remove connect express accounts once they are linked.

Maybe the solution is just to have everyone on a standard account that can easily be added and removed?

Express accounts cost $2/month only for active accounts (meaning a month in which a Payout is sent to the Express account's external account). You do not need to delete the accounts to avoid getting charged when they're not active: https://stripe.com/connect/pricing

Sounds good. Deleting the accounts is not recommended, as it's non-trivial to have the same people go through onboarding again later.
