We look at the country of the connected account and the country associated with the card

So if your connected account is in France and the card is from the US or Canada it's an international payment

Thanks for your quick reply @proven parrot . So that also applies within the EU? When the connected account is in Spain and the card is France, it's an international payment even thought both use EUR?

the pricing is different in Europe

#

EEA (some subset of Europe) cards are treated as local, but not for GB

#

You need to look at each pricing page basically
