thanks, will look

#

still looking, no idea yet

#

ah right it's https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/integrating-customer-portal#limitations

Updating subscriptions in the portal is only supported for charge_automatically subscriptions with a single licensed price.

The subscription sub_1L5FFjAv0gmPJ9hOSirApt0P for cus_LlusapD2UzwoOM is a send_invoice subscription(you created it through the dashboard so it's a different UI/defaults probably, you used the API and your Node code to create the other one)

Ah ok. Do you know how I can make it so he can update? Is the only way by deleting his dashboard-created subscription and creating a new one via the apio?

#

Or is it possible to create one he can update via the dasboard? Which would be preferable

#

you can I believe change the billing method to charge_automatically
