Hi there, can you clarify? Your Customer accrued a balance and you want to refund that as opposed to use it to discount a future invoice?

yes, he got the balance when he cancelled the subscription

Gotcha then you would need to refund past payments that customer made. You can't refund that Customer balance directly.
