we only built the PaymentElement to work with PaymentMethods/PaymentIntents/SetupIntents, it doesn't work for collecting cards or bank accounts for payouts

I know it's annoying but you have to use your own forms with https://stripe.com/docs/js/tokens_sources/create_token?type=bank_account

is there any way of capturing such information using a Stripe UI? Everything else is available via Stripe hosted forms - we don't want to have to update our system every time for the requirements in different countries.

yep, you would use Express accounts

it's only Custom accounts where you have to build the payout onboarding yourself
