Can you clarify where you're looking for the metadata in the response? It looks like it's being returned in the response as a field on the Subscription.

Sounds good, it can be a bit confusing because that response actually contains multiple objects of varying types (subscription, subscription items, invoice line items, payment intent, etc) that can each have their own unique values for their corresponding metadata fields.
