they're all standard accounts fyi
If it's for all your connected accounts, can't you just add them as a team member on the platform?
they're on the platform level as admin, but can't select accounts from the dropdown
they can see them under connect but as i'm adding them as an admin they need the full access you get there in the dropdown
Are the Standard accounts created by the platform? If so, why would they need to use the dropdown at the top-left when they can search the account and see it within the Platform's dashboard?
I don't think there's a way to add them as a team member to multiple accounts at once
ok
sorry.. got distracted
i created them all from the platform
through connect -> create -> created a (standard) connected account
then went through the process one by one
Hi 👋 I'm stepping in for @neon tide
but there are a number of settings not available unless you change the dropdown
even the "view dashboard as"
So you have a fellow admin on your platform account who does not have access to the Standard Connect accounts?
Am I getting that right?
yes, i created them all and he is an admin on the platform account
but can't see them in the left hand dropdown
so i think (unless there is another way) i have to go through each of the... 38 accounts and invite him as an admin to that team
as an admin there
Which drop down are you referring to?
from the top left on the dashboard
If you mean the Account drop down in the upper left, that is intended
I have created 20 standard accounts but since I didn't use the same email each time I don't have access to those accounts
I need to use Login As through the Connect table or just use the APIs. What is it you are trying to accomplish here?
i want to ensure he has the same access as i do across all of them. so currently i'm having to go to the account switcher, choose the connect account from there, then settings -> team -> new member and invite him by his email address
(he's not a developer so api access won't work for him)
as an example.. if i view dashboard as then go to settings
my only options there are
vs the full list of product and business settings
i might have to add a couple more admin level people so a way to spread 1 user to all connect accounts would be ideal vs manually inviting to each
Gotcha. Unfortunately I think your current process is the required process. Standard Accounts are designed to be separate so platforms have reduced control
ok, we were on custom but are migrating for a bunch of reasons so i'll run through the process
