Hi there, you can only set a % for application fee when you are using a Subscription. Orders does not support this. You will have to pass a set amount for Orders.

That said, I understand the use-case.

I'm going to file a feature request that we get this added.

Also just wanted to flag this possible error in the docs - looks like the code snippet has transfer_data outside the settings object, but it should be inside 😄
