Okay can i still use the "old" test key i used for the old shop to test? Or do i need to create a new one? Where will the test data be visible? Does it not mix with the live data?

you can use the old test key, no need to create a new one. And the data will appear in Test mode. This is entirely separate from Live mode. There's a UI switcher in the top right corner of the Dashboard
