hi there!

  1. I think it's fine.
  2. By customers, do you mean creators?

what do you mean by Stripe Connect supported region? As in, they aren't in a country which they can create a Stripe account in? i.e. : https://stripe.com/global Or do you mean the creator is not in the same country as your platform account?

oh! yes, we have creators who can't create a Stripe account in their country.

hmm, there's no easy way for this. Like what you said, then they can't use Stripe Connect at all. You could (as you put it) use vanilla Stripe and process the subscriptions/products/prices etc on your own platform account, but i feel it's going to be fairly complicated to implement. At this point, it's probably a business decision - how many creators and potential customers from these countries do you have (potential revenue), and is it worth the effort to implement an entirely separate flow. At a later point in time, Stripe may probably also launch in those countries, rendering your efforts to implement this to support certain countries redundant.

Is it correct that we also can't create Express account or Custom account using stripe api if the user's bank account isn't in the Stripe supported country?

Hi @sinful stream you can still create the account, but if the account is not in the list of the supported country then the connected account will have problems in payouts.
