Theres a SamCart landing page, with a checkout, im was about to use SamCart native's integration with stripe. I have a Stripe account with a stripe connect sub account. The sub account is the business and a % of those collections would be sent ot the main stripe account.

Last time i performed an integration this way i did it was a stripe connect integration ,yes.

But last time we were using a different CRM, not samcart.

So my question revolves around that.

Basically, how should i tackle the split funding issue if i want to use samcart's native integration.

I want to know if its possible, because it not, i would create an external checkout.

In this case is SamCart the platform account?

In that case they would create the charges, yes?

Based on the descriptions, SamCart would operate as the Platform account. In that case the splitting of the payment between accounts would be handled automatically during charge creation.

We have two businesses involved

#

Lets call them A and B

#

A is the platform account

#

A receives a fee for every purchase B makes.

#

B is the one who sells its product

#

B is the colllect account

#

B has a CRM called samcart.

#

B needs to sell via samcart, and split a % to A every time.

If A is the platform they will create the charge and take care of splitting the payment with B

Are you the one who is configuring the Connect Account? Are you creating charges directly using the APIs?

Im the one who is configuring both accounts

I havent used the API because i was hoping Samcart integration would avoid that.

If the Samcart integration creates the charges (which is what the page seems to suggest) then they are the ones controlling how the payment gets split

For Stripe Payments you make directly you will need to configure how you create the charge. For that, this is the doc to consider:
