We can try to help here but if it's super involved we might need to deal with it in an email. But let's start with your question.
we need to be able to input a 6 digit authorization code
the customer is using VISA Virtual Funds that is backed by USD loaded and approved for transactions with us -
and it uses a 6 digit authentication code and we need to provide a datafield for the customer to input for payment screen link we send to them to pay using their VISA
not necessarily instead, perhaps in addition to
one of our clients has a line of credit with Visa through UBS and it is in the form of a pre-loaded visa card from which we are trying to accept funds. On that card they have a 6 digit pin that needs to be entered for it to authorize use of funds. We dont see a field for that on the GUI but there should be a field somewhere to use, its been done before
What happens when you attempt to use this card with a Payment Element interface?
https://stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-element
there needs to be an additional field for the pin
like as if it was a debit card that required a pin
But what happens if you simply enter the card details as they are? What is the response from the API?
will check but being told that it wont go through cause only the pin can release any payment
Right but I'm curious about how the API responds as that may tell us next steps
logical ok will check also what is an email I can follow up with
