Not sure I understand the approve payments part

ok, one of our connected account holders told us, that he had 2-3 times a notification to "approve" or "capture" payments in the dashboard. since we are only capturing automatically, this cannot be the case right?

those two are somehow related and we dont get why
account holder told us he "captured" or "approved" something in the dashbaord
