I am not sure, but for this invoices we have failed webhooks, and now we are fixing this. Could it be related somehow?

We wait an hour after receiving a successful response to the invoice.created event before attempting payment. If we don’t receive a successful response within 72 hours, we attempt to finalize and send the invoice.

So it's max of 3 days until automatically finalized and send. If your webhook worked properly it should finalized and attempted immediately
