Ah, it is possible, unfortunately I don't know how likely but you should definitely be ready to present the 3DS dialogue in case the payment intent comes back with a status of requires_action

We used "any" instead of "automatic" and got such response

Unfortunately not, definitely often enough that it is probably worth your while to add this logic if you can

Are you having an issue implementing the 3DS flow if your PI comes back with this status? Or are you literally just trying to get a better idea of how often this happens?
