And how is that used. I get that it's the default price for the product. But in what scenarios does it matter?

No it was just a new price but we've not have any default price on a product before. Is it a new thing?

Because now when creating a price it seems it gets set to default automatically

I just tested it in my Dashboard, it's basically like a checkout box to indicate whether you want to set it as the default price. You can leave it if you don't want

Also you can set the default price either via Dashboard or API. See https://stripe.com/docs/products-prices/manage-prices?dashboard-or-api=dashboard#default-price

How to change it was explained well in there but how it is used was not very detailed . Any chance we could get more info?
