This is a question that's better for support, but you can always dispute the charge with your bank if you believe there's an issue

I haven’t made a purchase yet I just want to know your policy

I’m looking to buy something off a forum and they have directed me to a seller on your platform, which I’ve never heard of

Stripe is just a paymentProcessor - would you contact Visa or Mastercard to ask about a seller that accepts their cards? Stripe enables your payment to pass through the card networks to the seller - your recourses, as a buyer, would be exactly the same as any other, between your bank/card issuer and the seller.

Well if I used PayPal I would contact PayPal first. Because if I contact my bank, they’re going to either want me to contact PayPal first or their going to reach out. I want to make sure buyers are protected. Otherwise why not use, cashapp, zelle, Venmo or PayPal that doesn’t take a fee.

Most often buyers are protected through their bank - you'd simply dispute the charge and get your money back immediately
