Do you have any IDs related to these charges? Did this behavior create new payment intents or something?
I have already contacted them, but so far no response. I'm trying to understand what could have caused the problem.
The behavior did not generate any payment intent and we don't even have any record of the error. We became aware of the issue after the student submitted the card statement.
And indeed, we could see some sign of the failure just in the amount spent by the customer in the summary
