Hi there! Can you point me to the parameter you're looking at? I don't think you can provide tax IDs on payment links, but I could be overlooking something

I'm having a hard time finding it now - but a moment ago when I was editing a payment link there was an "Advanced options" expando at the bottom that had a "Allow business customers to provide tax IDs" option.

starting from what @heavy zodiac mentioned in the previous thread:

You can find that in the customer_details hash on the session:
https://stripe.com/docs/tax/checkout/tax-ids#retrieving-details

You should be able to enter those tax ids in test mode, too
https://stripe.com/docs/tax/checkout/tax-ids#testing

Are you sure your links/sessions are configured the same way?
Sharing a specific example would help to confirm

I actually can't even find the option any more in the live version

main support is looking at it - something odd is happening

I don't recall seeing the option before, then it was there, now it's not - either I'm going mad or it wasn't supposed to be there 👀

It was showing up in the Checkout session? Or the Dashboard?

Ah, I see. I'm not able to get my dashboard to show it either. If all you're trying to do is collect tax IDs on payments, I would suggest following the guides posted earlier in the thread

I'm only using the regular payment links and driving everything else via webhooks, no checkout flow

I reckon someone pushed to prod too early and it got rolled back while I was looking at it. - okay sorry to mess around, you can close the thread xD

It's all good! This is definitely something I wanted to get clarity on, because the behavior should be consistent. I'll raise internally and see if I can dig more on what's going wrong
