Sure. We usually have situations where there were several successful connections, then we get this error, then everything is fine again. Sometimes several successes, then an error and it remains until the iPad and terminal are restarted.

That's strange. You could enable verbose logs for the SDK , by initialising the SDK with https://stripe.dev/stripe-terminal-ios/docs/Classes/SCPTerminal.html#/c:objc(cs)SCPTerminal(py)logLevel
There might be something useful logged there.
