#slowgen - Connect webhooks

Yeah that makes sense. So are you no longer associated with that platform?
No
Okay so they don't show up as a platform to which your account is connected?
how do I check that
That's what I'm looking for. Was this a connection you established after you had a Stripe account?
I just used their billing software for a few days and connected it from the software. Didn't know I was getting connected to their connect platform
I main use the connect platform myself for my clients and it turns out all my connect account events are being sent to them
Their used to be a webhook which I deleted as soon as I stopped using their software
Yeah but if they are the platform they likely have an webhook configured to listen for events on your account
I'm looking for how to unlink the accounts
Okay, take a look here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/applications
Let me know what you see
I can see the app, shall I revoke access?
Yup
cheers

Finally, what does this mean payment_method.automatically_updated
Occurs whenever a payment method's details are automatically updated by the network.
https://stripe.com/docs/api/events/types#event_types-payment_method.automatically_updated
Correct me if i am wrong, should that only happen if we store the card for future use?
I am not certain. It may occur during authorization. do you have an example event?
yep

I got some pms used from weeks ago being updated today
yeah these were created back in January
Okay...yeah the issuing bank was updating the the info
But it got updated few hours ago right?
They passed it along to us so we passed it along
any way to stop it for cards we're not storing cos it costs me ๐
Well it might not be stored for future usage but the payment method record still exists
on my pricing it says fees incurred for auto network updates, shall I speak with my account manager. Would there be a way to stop it
Yeah I would recommend reaching out to your manager. I'm not really qualified to speak to account configuration. We mostly help devs with API stuff here
Ye get that, is there a way that you know of that stops auto updates at all?
No and I'm not finding anything explicit in our docs
Cool, thanks for your help. Have a good one!
Sure thing! ๐
