Hi there! You can't see the balance split between card/balance in your Dashboard unless you attempt to make a transfer through your Dashboard. You would need to use the API to retrieve your balance for this. There is no extra charge for transferring using source_type of card.

No you can't move funds between card and bank_account balance.

Those balances exist due to regulations that require the balances for ACH vs. card to be held separately.

How do funds end up in "card" vs "bank_account". Do we designate this when we make a top-up?

ACH charges go to bank_account and basically everything else goes to card balance. You can't designate this when making a top up — top ups are always to the card balance.
