Ah sorry I misread the question (was thinking about custom domains for reason)
I don't think you'd need to verify the domain to use Apple Pay on Stripe hosted checkout page

Those are not for checkout. It is for PaymentRequest Button using Stripe.js
Are you running into any issues with Apple Pay and checkout sessions?
