There shouldn't be any issues here. Why would there be a duplicate payment method? The assistant could just re-use the saved payment method
I was thinking the same but since the assistant will have a sub-account if they ever need to change the payment method to a different credit card/bank account the assistant can remove the payment intent id without effecting the admin account.
It's more for convenience on the developer side and just wanted to see if it's allowed.
Oh if the question is just "is there an issue with duplicate payment methods", then no that's totally fine
