@fathom siren feel free to share more details and I'll see if I can repro first

if you have a subscription, remove a price from the subscription, and choose a different price it shows the incorrect price under summary for the next invoice. This was driving me crazy and then i refreshed the page and it showed the correct price.

#

as you can see 900.00 is incorrect

#

sorry 1st and last screenshot are the correct ones,

hmmm I don't really follow, there's a proration happening so usually when you change prices there's a difference in what the next invoice will charge

fathom siren
#

its a bad bug because it will save incorrectly

#

all i did was remove the old price and add a new price

frigid gorge
#

but when you remove a PRice and add a new Price, it prorates by default

#

trying to reproduce, I don't really grsp the difference between the 2 screenshots

fathom siren
#

i don't see why it would prorate

#

this is to be charged tomorrow, but i am removing the price and adding a different price

frigid gorge
#

proration always happens, that's the default

#

you have the button right there in the top right view

fathom siren
#

ok so i turn off the proration

frigid gorge
#

wow okay I see the same thing

#

it's like we sum both prices

#

still trying to grasp it

fathom siren
#

if you turn off proration it seems to work correctly

frigid gorge
#

yeah

#

basically what I think is happening: we calculate the proration, you owe them say $300 in credit and we sum both incorrectly

fathom siren
#

but good point about that, right now im doing this through the ui but i will have to solve changing the price of subscription via api, without proration

#

i thought the price looked wrong, even thought if i was prorating this why is it doing that...

frigid gorge
#

ah wait no it works fine for me

#

so yeah I think it's because of the proration

#

and the fact that the next invoice will have "the amount they owe you for the current period plus the new period"

fathom siren
#

ok, than that makes sense i guess. just since the billing cycle does not start till tomorrow and the subscription started today i didn't expect anything to really change even if it was prorated
